Begin your day with yoga practice, continue on with a delicious brunch after it and then you are off to a great start with the right energy for the rest of the day! Some afternoons we will go hiking along the beach or inland through protected pine forests . Other afternoons we do a recuperative yoga practice (Yin Yoga, or Yoga with focus on healing sounds, organs, glands and chakras). During these sessions we also refine our breath and discuss interesting issues on yoga-philosophy. Every day there will be enough time to experience local scenery and its beauty with all senses and fill up your body with new energy. The mild, mediterranean climate energizes all year round. Get to know a different Spain, away from mass tourism!
Isabella Welsch or Sonja Rogge guide the group through a program, with carefully designed athayoga-classes on an intermediate level. Athayoga is Isabella´s own, modern blend of different styles. Many poses allow you to adjust to an easier or more challenging level. We need to know a bit about physical and psychological fitness of a participant: Please let us know ahead if you have any conditions.
Note: Classes are taught english and german.
Arrival, day 1:
From 15.00 onwards: Check-In
Monday, day 2 to Saturday, day 7:
8.30-10.30: Athayoga and meditation
2-3x excursions along the coast or inland.
2-3x restorative Athayoga practice including breathing exercises and deep relaxation.
1 afternoon will be off. By train you can reach Tarragona in 8 min., Reus in 30 min. and Barcelona in 60 min.
Schedules are subject to change according to weather.
Five times a week, dinner will be served in Villa Isabel. Twice a week, you can try out one of the many restaurants nearby.
Departure, day 8:
We offer high quality vegetarian food, using local organic products where possible. 1-2x / week you may choose fish and seafood.
We have two places to accommodate participants: there are rooms in the seminary house Villa Isabel or in the family-run Hotel Yola near the beach. You may choose between single and double rooms as well as shared or private bathroom. Regardless of the accommodation, the meals are available to all participants in Villa Isabel, where the yoga room is located.

What to bring with you:
One week before the retreat starts we will send you a list of things to bring with you. We have enough yoga props in the house, including high quality yoga mats. If you tend to sweat during yoga, please bring your own yoga towel with you.
