A time for you and a time to be a good friend to yourself and perhaps a get away from everyday life, away from commitments and a fully structured day and towards spontaneity, easy flow and calm. Yoga Soul Time is a modular program that you adapt to your needs. Design every day. Custom fit your plans. The Soul Time Week at the Atha Yoga Retreat House brings good times with some group activities, individual work opportunities and many customizable options. However, if one is looking for structure and rhythm, we have programs with enjoyable activities. The Soul Time weeks are for small groups (maximum of 8 participants).
If you are an early riser who is up at sunrise, then you might enjoy a jog along sea and sun salutations at the beach, do your own practice in the yoga room or perhaps you are that person who would rather sleep in – the choice is yours. All the activities and services are available, but not mandatory and up to you to pick.
For the first 3 days we offer a program that you may choose independently throughout the week.

7.45: Atha Yoga for sunrise (on the beach)
A 10-15 minute jog to the beach to welcome the sun in a picturesque place with a yoga sequence and continue the practice in the yoga room until we are ready for a delicious brunch (we take pride in the quality of our food), which will be served around 11 in the morning.
Afternoons are yours to design. Enjoy your time in the beautiful nature and the sun, which also warms in December. Certain afternoons, you will have an opportunity to work individually with Isabella Welsch, a yoga teacher and psychotherapist with many years of experience. With her help, you can create your own individual yoga and meditation exercise program, work psychologically on stressful living conditions or go on a shamanic trance journey to the soul recovery (50 € per hour).
You can also treat yourself to a massage (50 € per hour.) – there are several masseurs who use different massage techniques, including lymphatic drainage and osteopathy. Or learn new things in a cooking class with Chef Gregory (25 € for about 3 hours including written documents).
Some afternoons you can join a group for a walk along the coast, the cliffs and through pine forests to the magical Waikiki Nature Bay or take a hike inland, where you can enjoy fantastic views of the mountains and the sea.
First 3 days there is the possibility for Atha Yoga practice at sunset (on the beach) at about 17.45. We jog for 10-15 minutes to the beach to say goodbye to the sun in a suitable place with a yoga sequence. Then dinner calls us home!
After dinner you can retire and read or write, hang out, watch TV in the living room, chat, play board games, dance or meditate. There is a guided evening meditation available at least 3 evenings from 21.00-21.30.
From 15.00 onwards: Check-In
Monday to Friday mornings:
7.15: Morning hydration (with a small snack)
18.30-19.30: Dinner (only Monday to Thursday)
Our meals are available in buffet-style. On Friday evening and Saturday the whole day we do not provide meals, but recommend restaurants nearby.
We offer high quality vegetarian food, using local organic produce where possible. 1-2x / week you may choose fish and seafood.

On the Soul Time Wokshops, all the guest rooms in the beautiful seminary house, Villa Isabel, are available for single use (no room service during the week). You may choose between shared or private bathroom.

What to bring with you:
One week before the workshop starts we will send you a list of things to bring with you. We have enough yoga props in the house, including high quality yoga mats. If you tend to sweat during yoga, please bring your own yoga towel with you.
